What we do The Circuit Clerk is the keeper of both the seal of the circuit court and the court records, including files and exhibits. In addition, the Circuit Clerk's office:
  • Processes criminal and juvenile delinquency cases
  • Processes ordinance, conservation and traffic violation cases
  • Processes civil cases
  • Summons citizens to jury duty
  • Provides clerks for the courtrooms
  • Collects fines, costs and fees
